Learning outcomes

After completing the Research on Society and Organisations course, the student will have a broad understanding of varied social and organisational theories as they are present in current research projects in the School of Management. As such, the students will hear lectures given by researchers from different disciplines and across different research programs. Students will learn how to read, contrast, and critique different theoretical perspectives and have an understanding of how these theories can be used to better understand empirical problems relating to societal, political, and organisational challenges.
