Marketing is one of the subjects which can be studied in School of Economics and Business Administration at the University of Tampere. The yearly enrolment to the marketing program is 20 students. A variety of topics can be studied in the program. Services, consumer behaviour, and internationalisation are emphasized in teaching. Teaching is closely connected to the ongoing academic research of the discipline. Moreover, marketing program offers skills to apply theory in practice.

The main idea of Marketing is to create, maintain and enhance co-operative relationships with customers and other interest groups. Teaching in marketing aims at developing skills to analyse markets, but also to understand customers and to utilise the variety of marketing tools.
