Introduction to bioinformatics and a fair knowledge of protein biochemistry.

Learning outcomes

Getting a solid background in structure-related bioinformatics, including a theoretical background to start protein modeling. Understanding limits of protein models.


Revision of protein structures; Macromolecular structural research methods and structure data; Analysis of structures; Classification of structures; Structural alignment; Molecular visualization; Homology-based modeling.
