ENGFP2B British Literature I: 1550-1780 4 ECTS

Learning outcomes

To introduce students to the literature and literary genres of the period and to academic, theory-based ways of reading.


An overview of the development of British literature in its historical, cultural and social contexts through the reading of a selection of representative texts.
Classes include lectures and follow-up tutorials, with small-group work based on the study materials.
