Learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of the course unit, the student will be able to identify the different areas of audiovisual translation and their specific features. The student will also be able to describe audiovisual translation as a profession. Furthermore, the student will be familiar with the main research areas in audiovisual translation and will be able to explain the connections between research and the actual translation process.

Contents

The course unit explores the various areas of audiovisual translation, its practices, audiovisual translation as a profession, and research in the field of audiovisual translation.
